Cookie Policy
What cookies we use, why, and how to change your choice after your first visit.
- GDPR / KVKK / PDPA
Cookie Categories
The four categories below are the ones a site of this kind may use. Only Analytics has anything in it today:
- Strictly Necessary — none in use today. The answer you give about analytics is remembered in your browser's local storage, under the name cleo-analytics-consent, not in a cookie.
- Analytics — Google Analytics, which helps us understand which pages are useful (aggregated, not used to identify you individually). Consent-gated: it is loaded only after you accept, and only on cleosystem.com.
- Functional — none currently in use on this site.
- Marketing — none currently in use on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any marketing cookie is ever set — not silently enabled later.
Full Cookie List
These cookies are set only after you accept analytics. Before you answer, and if you reject, none of them is set.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Tells one visitor's browser from another's. | Set to last two years. Browsers may keep it for less: the one we tested kept it for 400 days. | First party, set by Google Analytics. |
| _ga_1T4X8PHK5D | Remembers the state of your current visit. | Set to last two years. Browsers may keep it for less: the one we tested kept it for 400 days. | First party, set by Google Analytics. |
Where a product page includes a video, it is hosted by YouTube and is not loaded until you press play. When you press play your browser contacts YouTube, which is a Google service and may set cookies of its own. Those are not covered by your answer about analytics.
Changing Your Choice
The first time you visit, a notice asks whether you accept analytics. It never blocks you from reading the site, and analytics is not loaded unless you accept. If you accept, Google Analytics is loaded and sets the cookies listed above. If you reject, it is not loaded and none of those cookies is set. Your answer is remembered in your browser, so you are not asked again there. To change it, use the Cookie Settings link in the footer: the notice opens again and you can give the other answer. If you withdraw an acceptance, the analytics cookies are removed and the page loads again without analytics. An earlier version of this notice only asked you to acknowledge it. That was not an answer about analytics, so if you dismissed it you will be asked now.
